Beyoncé Announces Super Bowl Half-Time Gig
Tuesday October 16, 2012 Beyoncé posted a head shot of herself on her blog wearing eye black stickers (similar to those worn by professional football players)that read Feb 3 (under her right eye) and 2013 (under her left eye).
The date references this year's Super Bowl (the National Football League's Championship game) taking place at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans.

Rolling Stones Announce London and New York Shows to Mark 50th Anniversary
October 15, 2012 The Rolling Stones released a nearly two minute video via their YouTube channel (youtube.com/therollingstones) announcing four shows to celebrate the band’s 50th Anniversary.
The first two shows will take place at London’s O2 Arena on November 25 & 29.
The Stones will also perform on December 13th and 15th at Newark's Prudential Center.

King of Pop Michael Jackson was born 54 years ago today in Gary, Indiana. His three children, who live in California with his mother Katherine and cousin TJ serving as guardians, visited Gary today to remember their father who died June 25, 2009.
