Why aren’t some bands available
yet?
The Rock & Roll Library is building the most
comprehensive music information database in the world. Our database is
growing exponentially every week. While it is a slow process to add every
band into the database, we are striving to add the most content possible.
If there's a specific band or person you would like to see added, please e-mail
MusicArchive@RockLibrary.com.
How can I help?
The best way you can help is by becoming a member.

RockLibrary.com, signing up for our monthly email newsletter and sharing our

Increasing the number of registered users at RockLibrary.com and number of names
on our email list strengthens our grant applications and sponsorship requests
by demonstrating our vast number of supporters.
Does it cost money to search
the RRL Music Archive™?
No, the Music Archive™ is completely free, however you
do have to register at
www.RockLibrary.com and log in with your designated username and
password before you can access the database.
Why do I have to register to
search the RRL Music Archive™ database?
We need to keep track of the number of users and
visitors to our site, and what people are using it for. This information
goes to support our grant proposals, as we are a non-profit company. It
is our policy not to sell or trade e-mail addresses, so you will not receive
SPAM if you register with us.

Are there employment, volunteer
or internship opportunities available at the RRL?
The Rock & Roll Library is not hiring at this time;
however, we do accept volunteer
applications on a rolling basis.
Cyclical internships are available for undergraduate and graduate
college students, with spring internships beginning in January, summer
internships beginning in May, and fall internships beginning in
August/September. Paid internships are available for students who receive
a Federal Work Study grant. It is strongly encouraged that all students
receive credit for their internship.
What is the goal of your
education department?
We believe that most people have a very personal
relationship with music; the Rock & Roll Library works to use that
relationship as a vehicle to educate. Educators around the globe are
currently using music as a valuable teaching tool for a wide range of
subjects. Projects in this department include our Song Lesson Contest™,
an archive of free lesson plans for download and other resources. For
more information, visit our
Education Page.
Where are you located?
